Integration coaching

Making sense of the experience, and living it.

Integration is the work of turning what surfaced during a clinically supervised process into understanding, choices and habits that last. Coaching gives that work structure and company.

In plain language

What integration coaching is, and is not.

It is

A coaching relationship focused on preparation, reflection and practical change around a clinically supervised experience. Sessions are conversational, structured and confidential.

It is not

Medical treatment, psychotherapy, diagnosis or prescribing. Coaches do not administer, prescribe or advise on ketamine or any medication. Those decisions belong with your treating clinician.

How they fit

Clinical care and integration coaching are different functions that work best side by side. The clinic holds the treatment process; coaching holds the container for emotional processing and lasting change.

The approach

The StrongMind Method, applied to integration.

A four-step method gives integration a clear shape.

01
Cultivate compassionate presence

Observe thoughts and emotions without judgement, and create space between stimulus and response.

02
Align with your highest principles

Clarify the values you choose, as distinct from the expectations you inherited.

03
Disentangle from limiting beliefs

Recognise the narratives that distort perception and reframe them into perspectives that support growth.

04
Build aligned structures

Design routines, agreements and boundaries that anchor the change in everyday life.

Common questions

Boundaries, roles and what to expect.

What is integration coaching?

Integration coaching is structured support for making sense of a significant experience and turning it into lasting, practical change. It draws on high-performance coaching, behavioral science, emotional resilience and leadership development to help with preparation beforehand, reflection afterward, meaning-making, and building the everyday habits and structures that support what was learned. It is coaching, not clinical care, and it works best alongside, not instead of, the guidance of the treating clinical team.

What does the integration coaching role include?

The coaching role includes helping clients prepare for a significant experience, reflect on it afterward, make sense of what came up, and translate that into practical, everyday structures and habits. With clinics, it also includes coordinating session structure and communication with the clinical team, within agreed boundaries. The focus throughout is on the coaching and personal-development side of the journey, working in support of, not in place of, clinical care.

What does the coaching role not include?

Coaches are not physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists or therapists, and the role does not include diagnosing conditions, prescribing or administering medication, advising on dosing, or setting or changing a treatment plan. Those decisions always sit with the treating clinic or a qualified healthcare professional. Our coaching is designed to complement clinical care, never to replace or direct it.

Is integration coaching the same as medical treatment?

No. Integration coaching focuses on preparation, reflection, meaning-making and practical change, and is entirely separate from medical or clinical treatment. It does not involve diagnosis, prescribing, or any clinical decision-making. Any medical questions or concerns should always be directed to the treating clinic or a qualified healthcare professional.

Is the coaching team part of my medical treatment team?

No. We provide integration coaching alongside your care, but she is not part of your medical or clinical treatment team and does not make clinical decisions. Your treating clinic or healthcare professional remains responsible for your medical treatment. The coaching role is to support you with the coaching and personal-development side of your journey.

Does the team prescribe or administer ketamine?

No. Coaches do not prescribe, supply, administer or advise on ketamine or any other medication, and coaches do not diagnose conditions or change treatment plans. Those matters are handled solely by the treating clinic or a qualified healthcare professional. The coaching role is limited to coaching support around preparation, reflection and integration.

Is ketamine appropriate for me?

Whether ketamine treatment is appropriate for you is a medical decision that can only be made by your treating clinic or a qualified healthcare professional, based on your individual health history. Our coaching does not involve advising on treatment appropriateness, and neither this website nor its chatbot can answer this for you. Please raise this question directly with your clinician.

What ketamine dose should I receive?

Coaches do not advise on ketamine dosing in any way; this is a clinical decision made entirely by your treating clinic or a qualified healthcare professional. Our coaching role does not extend to medication or treatment details. If you have questions about your dose, please raise them directly with your prescribing clinician.
