Integration

What integration actually means

Integration is not a mood. It is the work of turning an experience into understanding, choices and habits.

People often describe the days after a clinically supervised session as open, tender, or strangely clear. That window closes. Integration is what you do while it is open.

Three questions that do most of the work

  • What surfaced that I did not expect?
  • What does it ask of me this week, in practical terms?
  • What structure would make that easier to keep?

Where coaching fits

The clinic holds the treatment process; coaching holds the container for emotional processing and lasting change. Neither replaces the other, and anything medical always goes back to your treating clinician.
